Word Whiz
Word Whiz is a Windows desktop application distributed through the Microsoft Store. The following describes how data is handled when you use Word Whiz:
- Gameplay statistics: Score totals, words found, round count, and best word are tracked locally on your device for the duration of your session to display stats within the game. No gameplay data is transmitted to InnoVadens servers.
- Word definitions: When you find a word, Word Whiz requests its definition from third-party public APIs (Free Dictionary API, Wiktionary, and Datamuse). The word text is sent to these services over HTTPS. InnoVadens does not control these services; refer to their respective privacy policies.
- Saved grids (Pro): Custom grids you save are stored locally on your Windows device using the app’s local storage. They are not uploaded to or stored by InnoVadens.
- In-app purchase (Pro): The Word Whiz Pro upgrade is processed entirely through the Microsoft Store. InnoVadens does not collect or store your payment information. Refer to the Microsoft Privacy Statement for details on Store transactions.
- No account required: Word Whiz does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to InnoVadens to use the application.
